We're gearing up for our next campaign. We have the pre-launch page up for our Special Edition of our book Light Love Rituals: Bulgarian Myths, Legends, and Folklore, which will launch on April 16, 2024.

Nelly and I are celebrating our 10-year anniversary in publishing in 2024, and we wanted to make this book special. It'll include expanded information on each of the 17 major holidays covered in the book.
Plus, many many new images from well-beloved Bulgarian artist Keazim Issinov, who was Nelly's mentor.
The book also includes some of Nelly's recipes and has activities for children. A book the entire family can enjoy.

For those of you new to our campaigns and haven't yet seen the announcement from our other campaigns, we'd like to let you know that the pre-launch link is now available for our DRAGON VILLAGE series: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ronesa-aveela/dragon-village.
This is a five-book coming-of-age, portal fantasy series set in the magical land of Zmeykovo, Dragon Village. This is the place in Bulgarian folklore where dragons, Samodivi, Rusalki, and all magical creatures live when they are not in the human world.
The protagonist is a 12-year-old boy named Theo, who sets off to rescue his sister, who has been captured by a fierce three-headed dragon. In Dragon Village, he meets many creatures from Slavic folklore and discovers secrets that have been hidden for ages…
This series is a little different from our non-fiction campaigns, but we hope it’s something else you will enjoy. Please share with others you think may want to take a trip to a magical land and meet strange new creatures.
We’re planning on launching the campaign in the September/October timeframe.

The last of the books have shipped out today, so you all should be receiving them soon, if you haven't got them yet.
Only one shipping mishap so far. I hoping no more issues arise. Please do send us a message if you have problems, though.
For now, though, we will call this campaign a wrap. A couple people still need to complete the survey to get their digital rewards. You will have a message waiting for you on Kickstarter with the Backerkit link. I will continue to resend through Backerkit as well.
The hot Dog Days of Summer are upon us here in the New England area. But I prefer the heat to the long cold days (and nights) of winter. :)
Our next campaign will be in the autumn (September or October timeframe). We're working to finish the final two books in our Dragon Village fantasy series that haven't been published yet. Great new covers for the etire series to reflect the genre better, as well. We'll post a link as soon as we have one available.
